Biography

Steven’s main research focus is in the field of Embedded Systems and Wireless Sensor Networks where networks of resource-constrained wireless devices have been designed and used in different application domains such as medical technologies, minimally-invasive surgeries, ambient computing, intelligent transportation systems, environmental, tectonic and volcanic monitoring. He has been involved in several interdisciplinary projects with a total grant amount exceeding S$2.5m from 2008-12. Prior to joining SIT in 2013, he has over 45 peer-reviewed publications and has filed 2 international patents (1 pending, 1 granted)
